 Hello, Dolly! follows the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi, a strong-willed matchmaker, as she travels to Yonkers, New York, for her toughest challenge yet: finding a suitable wife for the miserly 'well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire' Horace Vandergelder. She successfully matches many others in the city, including Horace’s niece and two clerks, but everything seems to go wrong when it comes to matching Horace himself.
